Lindsay Zier-Vogel
Audio Describer, Hello Sunshine!
Lindsay Zier-Vogel is a Toronto-based author, grant writer, and the founder of the internationally-acclaimed Love Lettering Project. After studying dance at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, Lindsay has worked with the dance community as a poetic dramaturge and script writer for Canadian choreographers, including Kate Holden, Heidi Strauss, Shannon Litzenberger, Yvonne Ng, Sylvie Bouchard, and Jessica Runge. She began her work as an audio describer through a Moonhorse Dance Theatre workshop, and has since worked with Julia Sasso and Carolyn Anderson.
Lindsay is the author of the acclaimed debut novel Letters to Amelia, and her first picture book, Dear Street has been nominated for reader’s choice awards in Canada and the United States. She is co-editing The Deep End: Reflections on swimming with andrea bennett, and her second novel, The Fun Times Brigade is out now.
