Lorna Craig
Accessibility Facilitator, Hello Sunshine!
Lorna Craig is a theatre creator, producer, and accessibility consultant working in disability arts spaces. She is currently a producer with Unsightly Arts (formerly Fire and Rescue Arts), supporting Blind-led storytelling, accessible arts practice, and interabled collaboration under the artistic direction of Alex Bulmer. While studying Theatre and Development in Montreal, she directed On Life and Living, a documentary theatre piece based on personal stories from AIDS Community Care Montreal, an HIV/AIDS support network. After returning to Toronto, she directed Living with Olivia Cadence Donovan, an original production exploring the experience of living with OCD. Since 2021, Lorna has worked with AccessArt to improve the accessibility of public art throughout Toronto. In 2023, she assistant-directed Alex Bulmer’s Perceptual Archaeology (or How to Travel Blind) and co-produced Access Me with The Boys in Chairs Collective. She collaborates with artists and organizations to develop accessible rehearsal processes, audience experiences, and creative theatre practices.
